Hydrobe® technology harnesses the power of microbiology to consume CO2 emissions with unprecedented efficiency. It would take 9000 hectares of forest to sequester as much CO2
as 12 hectares of Hydrobe.
Hydrobe® photobioreactors can be installed on site at factories, steelworks, or power plants to recycle flue gas emissions into high value saleable byproducts. The modular Hydrobe® photobioreactors are designed to take up a relatively small footprint on site.
Data from our Class 5 concept engineering study suggests that Hydrobe® photobioreactors only require 12 hectares of land area to recycle ~300,000 tons of CO2 per annum. It would take 9000 hectares of forest to sequester the equivalent volume.
The Hydrobe® decarbonization process has been proven at laboratory scale at Curtin University and we recently commissioned the first 3,000 liter scale reactor at our Deer Park facility in Melbourne, Australia.
We are ready to discuss how Hydrobe® can work with large scale emitters and users of biomass. To open a conversation about partnering with us, please get in touch.
